All defensive buildings are evenly located all over the base to defend in all directions with the defending heroes. The Air Defenses, X-Bows, and Inferno Towers are in locations where they can target air troops early but no way to snipe them out easily. And these Defensive structures are back up with Air sweepers; this will help to defend the core, especially from air troops like Balloons or Dragons.
Also, attacks that focus on getting to the Town Hall to destroy are attacks where the attacker invests most spells to make sure to get the Town Hall, and troops will get stuck on walls right after, preventing any more severe damage.
Also, I have all main and the important defensive buildings are in the core part of the base that will deal a lot of DPS to the opponent troops. The attacker might invest all the troops as well as spells to get the Town Hall.
